UNIPOL 1% foam hydrant system with dimensionally stable hose D33 -20bm left

The D33 foam hydrant system with shape-resistant hose is another certified fire protection system from Pavliš and Hartmann.

Usage:

The foam hydrant system is designed for initial extinguishing with heavy foam. The foam supply is for a minimum of 7 minutes. As standard, the system is equipped with a nozzle for the use of 1% foam, which is included in the delivery.

The cap of the foam canister can only be opened in case of intervention, otherwise there is a risk of foam deterioration. The device can also be used for water-only extinguishing. In this case it is necessary to have the suction valve of the attachment closed. After each intervention using foam, the entire system must be properly flushed with clean water by removing the stainless steel suction pipe from the foam container and placing it in a container of clean water, opening the suction valve of the attachment and flushing the entire system thoroughly.

The unit is designed for indoor areas protected from frost.

 Technical description:
The hydrant foam system consists of a reel with a D33 dimensionally stable hose with a maximum length of 30m on a swing arm, which is mounted in a cabinet. A connecting hose of the same diameter with a length of 1.4m, a D33 fire foaming nozzle for heavy foam, a hose attachment with a main ball cap and a 20 litre foam canister.

The nozzle (eq. 10) consists of a light alloy nozzle body with air inlet holes with plastic cover for safe holding and protection against cold and a DN33 lever ball valve with G1 1/4´´ connection thread. The positions are marked with arrows and ON - OFF symbols.

The attachment is installed in front of the winch. It consists of a body with a brass diffuser, a 3/8´´- new ball valve for pressing the foam with a replaceable nozzle and a suction hose ending in a stainless steel pipe which is inserted into the foam canister located in the cabinet during intervention.

The mixer is equipped with a DN33 ball valve with ON - OFF symbols on the inlet and an external thread G 1 1/4´´ on the outlet, to which the connecting hose is connected. The direction of water flow is marked with an arrow on the body of the fitting.

The enclosure is made of sheet steel and finished with RAL 3000 structural powder paint. The dimensions of the cabinet are 1190 x 800 x 340 mm. It is divided into two parts. One contains the hose reel and nozzle, the other contains the attachment device and a 20 litre foam canister.

The company produces two variants of the system. The left-hand version has the water inlet and canister located in the left part of the cabinet, the opposite is true for the right-hand version. The closure is provided by a plastic cap with sealing arrangements. The cabinet is designed for indoor environments.

The system can be installed in conjunction with other hydrant systems from Pavliš and Hartmann.

First aid in the event of a shock:
IN CASE OF CONTACT WITH SKIN: If contact occurs, wash the skin with water or shower the affected person with cold water using neutral soap. In case of serious injury, seek medical attention.

IN CASE OF EYE CONTACT: Flush eyes with sufficient water for at least 15 minutes. Remove contact lenses if they are in and if they can be removed easily. Then, in any case, seek medical attention as soon as possible.
