Foam hydrant system UNIPOL FF 3% with dimensionally stable hose D25 -30bm right

The foam hydrant system with the D25 form-fitting hose is another certified fire protection system from Pavliš and Hartmann.

In accordance with Regulation (EU) No. 1272/2008 of the European Parliament and of the Council, this product is not classified as hazardous. Use protective equipment when using.

Usage:
The hydrant foam system is designed for initial extinguishing with heavy foam. The foam supply is for a minimum of 7 minutes. The system is fitted with a nozzle as standard to apply 3% foam, which is included. 

The appropriate type of foaming agent should be consulted with the designer, depending on the environment in which it is placed.

The cap of the foam canister can only be opened in case of intervention. Otherwise there is a risk of foam deterioration.

The device can also be used for water-only extinguishing. In this case it is necessary to have the suction valve of the attachment closed. After each intervention using foam, the entire system must be properly flushed with clean water by removing the stainless steel suction pipe from the foam container and placing it in a container of clean water, opening the suction valve of the attachment and flushing the entire system thoroughly.

The device is designed for indoor areas protected from frost.

It consists of:

1. Steel cabinet with winch coated with RAL 3000 (red) structural powder paint for indoor use (can be supplied for outdoor use upon agreement with the manufacturer).
2. D25 to HS ball-locked attachments.
3. Connecting hose D25, length 1,4m.
4. D25 hose in length of 30m.
5. Foam canister (15l).
6. Heavy duty fire foam nozzle with ball valve.
7. Suction hose with stainless steel pipe.

Water - foaming agent 3% (admixture accuracy according to EN 13565-1, Art.7, 2.5 mm orifice) 

Technical description:

the hydrant foam system consists of a reel with a D25 hose with a maximum length of 20m on a swing arm, which is mounted in the cabinet. A connecting hose of the same diameter with a length of 1.4m, a D25 heavy duty fire foam jet, a ball-lock main attachment and a 15 litre foam canister.

The nozzle ( eq. 7 ) consists of a light alloy nozzle body with air inlet holes and a plastic cover for safe holding and protection against cold and a DN25 lever ball valve with 1'' connection thread. The positions are marked with arrows and ON - OFF symbols. The attachment is installed in front of the winch. It consists of a body with a brass diffuser, a 3/8´´- new ball valve for pressing the foam with a replaceable nozzle and a suction hose ending in a stainless steel pipe, which is inserted into the foam canister located in the cabinet during intervention.

The mixer is equipped with a DN25 ball valve at the inlet, with the control positions marked with the ON - OFF symbols, and at the outlet with a G 1´´ external thread to which the connecting hose is connected. The direction of water flow is marked with an arrow on the body of the hose connector.

The cabinet is made of sheet steel and finished with RAL 3000 (red) structural powder paint.

The dimensions of the cabinet are 950 x 650 x 285 mm. It is divided into two parts. One contains the hose reel and nozzle, the other contains the attachment device and a 15 litre foam canister. The closure is provided by plastic caps with sealing arrangements. The cabinet is designed for indoor environments.

The system can be installed in conjunction with other Pavliš and Hartmann hydrant systems.

First aid in case of exposure:

IN CASE OF CONTACT WITH SKIN: If contact occurs, wash the skin with water or shower the affected person with cold water using neutral soap. In case of serious injury, seek medical attention.

IN CASE OF EYE CONTACT: Flush eyes with sufficient water for at least 15 minutes. Remove contact lenses if they are in and if they can be removed easily. Then, in any case, seek medical attention as soon as possible.
