Backpack Panther empty

The PANTHER backpack is made of durable waterproof Cordura® fabric coated with PU coating. It is equipped with wide shoulder, chest and hip straps allowing adjustment for different body heights. A radio and microphone can be attached to the shoulder straps. Comfort is ensured by a double soft back pad. The pad is also fitted on the front and around the entire perimeter of the backpack. The back is also reinforced with two plastic straps that are placed under the shoulder straps along the entire length of the backpack. This ensures that the backpack is sufficiently rigid when fully loaded. The backpack is also fitted with a handle for easy carrying.

The PANTHER backpack is designed to hold five 20m D25 hoses, a C-DCD manifold, two D25 streamlines and two C/D transitions. For this purpose it is equipped with a main spacious chamber which is divided into two parts by a partition. The lower chamber is designed for four hoses and is accessed by a separate side opening, which can be closed with a two-hinged handle and secured with Velcro. The hoses are separated by dividers. The upper chamber is designed to accommodate a fifth hose, a manifold, two nozzles and transitions. It is accessible through a separate top opening, which can be closed with a two-hinged handle and secured with Velcro. The hose is separated from the manifold by a bulkhead. The manifold and jet line are secured by an elastic loop and the transitions are stored in Velcro-secured pockets.

Thanks to the top and side opening, there is no need to remove the backpack to unload the hoses during intervention. One firefighter carries the backpack and extinguishes with the nozzle. The other firefighter pulls the hoses and extends the line. This achieves a smooth, gradual, uninterrupted firefighting operation.

When emptying the backpack, it is possible to remove all the dividers, store them at the bottom of the backpack and use the main sized chamber to move any material - water in PET bottles, food, or download used hoses after an intervention.
